Repetition as the art of not being bored by yourself, or: being bored by yourself, but sticking with it.

~ What we do

TakeMoreCare - your online feedback community

Here’s how it works: Once a month1 we hold a meeting of two hours on ZOOM. It’s announced via this website and via our mailing list (ifadtakesmorecare@gmail.com). Participants are asked to register beforehand, but can also join spontaneously. Whether you are participating regularly, or just once - everyone is welcome!
But as usually, we won't pre-announce who's joining, which allows for feedback beyond our used working alliances.

Everyone attending will present for 5 minutes what they are currently busy with (a project, the beginning of a research, a question you are stuck with)  -  followed by maximum 7-minutes feedback, associations, provocations, references from the other participants.
There’s no observing! Except for the meeting’s time-keeper, everyone participating will also present2.

Presenters are invited to come up with questions, scores or tasks3 for what kind of feedback they are looking for. Or they can choose to leave the form and content of feedback open to the feedbackers.

In a way, we are a diasporic network: being mostly active online allows us to address artists all over Germany from all varieties of artistic working fields. As we are an international team, we usually host the events in English. But participation in German is always possible. Click here to join our mailing list.

TakeMoreCare is an independent initiative by Lili M. Rampre and Valerie Wehrens, supported by PACT Zollverein. The monthly exchange platform came to life by merging a feedback format developed during the #TakeCare residencies at PACT with the choreographical-dramaturgical co-working framework Institut für Ausufernde Dramaturgien (IfAD).

With thanks to PACT Zollverein and especially Magdalena Kruska, for their support.
